Inaugural AGM & Gala Dinner 2013

The Inaugural Annual General Meeting of Canadian Association of University of Moratuwa (CAUME) was held on April 6, 2013, at The Grand Taj Banquet and Convention Centre. This historic event marked the official formation and first gathering of our engineering community in Canada.

The meeting was attended by over 70 graduates from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Moratuwa, along with their families, who are presently living in Canada. This strong turnout demonstrated the enthusiasm and commitment of UoM engineers to build a vibrant professional network in their new home country.

The Gala Dinner organized alongside the Inaugural AGM created a memorable evening that combined professional networking with social celebration, setting the foundation for future CAUME events and traditions.
