Family Get Together & Cricket Tournament 2012

The Annual Get Together of University of Moratuwa Engineers in Summer 2012 was a highly successful event that brought together our community for a day of fun, friendship, and friendly competition. The event was well attended by over 50 families, making it one of the largest gatherings of UoM engineers in Canada at that time.

The highlight of the day was the inter-batches cricket tournament, which saw enthusiastic participation from engineers across different graduation years. The friendly rivalry on the field was matched by the camaraderie off it, as families cheered for their teams and enjoyed the summer weather together.

Children also had a wonderful time at the event, participating in various activities while their parents reconnected with old friends and made new ones. The success of this get-together set the stage for future family events and helped establish the tradition of annual community gatherings that continues to this day.
